Technology & Access Update

The City of Toledo is preparing several updates aimed at improving access to City information and public meetings.

New City Website (Coming Soon)

The City is in the process of launching a new website, with a target launch date in February. The updated site is designed to make it easier for residents to find information and stay informed about City business.

Once live, the website will include:

  • City Council agendas, packets, and minutes

  • Public notices and announcements

  • Utility billing and payment information

  • Forms, applications, and general City resources

During the transition, some content will continue to be added and refined. Required and essential information will be available at launch.

Zoom Meeting Access

The City has updated how Zoom access is provided for public meetings as part of the 2026 City Hall Security Update.

Effective immediately, previous Zoom links, meeting IDs, passcodes, and pins are no longer active. All Zoom access information has been updated.

Going forward, Zoom meeting links will be provided upon request. This change helps improve meeting security while continuing to allow public access.

Residents are encouraged to participate digitally when schedules, weather, or other commitments make it difficult to attend meetings in person. Listening remotely is a simple way to stay informed about City business.

Subscribing to Website Updates

Once the new website launches, residents will be able to subscribe to email notifications for topics they care about, including City Council meetings, public notices, and City announcements.

The City will provide training materials to assist residents with subscribing to website content and managing notification preferences. These materials will be made available through the website once the launch is complete.
