The CQC Scholarship is a program run by the Association of Washington Cities’ nonprofit partner, the Center for Quality Communities. It provides college/trade school scholarships to Washington high school seniors who are active in leadership and civic life—through their city or town government, community organizations, or school.
How Much & How Many
For the 2026 cycle, CQC will award up to four $3,000 scholarships. In recent years, amounts have consistently been $3,000 per student, with recipients also getting a travel stipend to attend AWC’s Annual Conference to be recognized.
