OPEN CITY COUNCIL POSITION
City of Toledo has an open Council position. This is position #4, which will be to fill an unexpired term ending on December 31, 2023. The position will be open for election in the 2023 election.
Council members are required to attend council meetings, workshops and other meetings. City Council meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. The City Council enacts laws and policies that are consistent with state laws; adopt budgets, land use regulations as well as act upon recommendations from the Planning Commission and Park Board; approves expenditures, sets rates, taxes and enters into contracts.

The requirements for this position are:
- Minimum age – 18 years old
- Registered Voter inside the city limits of Toledo
- Resides in the Toledo city limits for a minimum of 1 year
